Hello, Help, Has anyone got the fix for stripped swingarm pivot bolt threads in the frame? Thanks much,
 Bob.

A trip to Sears hardware and buying a metric 14 X 1.5 tap should help.  I have taps for all of the frame threads and clean them during reassembly after painting ect.  This pretains to the CMF 100/125 frames for Sachs powered machines.

Rob ,
Several things could work depending on how bad the threads are. You could run a tap through and see if they clean up with enough metal to hold. You could source a helicoil the right thread and go that route. If you had to , you could make up a threaded sleeve  with inside and outside threads. Drill out and tap the frame for the larger out side threads and have the inner tapped for the stock bolt. Then either use the stud and sleeve Loc Tight or weld up the outside of the sleeve to the frame and dress it off.
Any of these ideas work with what you have?
