Title: Gas Tanks
Post by: tmc3c on December 13, 2002, 12:59:37 PM
What is the best PLASTIC tank for a 76 250gs?Is there any mfg's making a look-a-like orginal tank so I dont have to worry with the fuel problems that come along with the fiberglass tanks? I see in the new KEEPING TRACK that they used a metal tank for the 400.

Clarke made some plasatic look-a-like tanks for those.  They were orange and enduro size.  I have one decent NOS one if interested.

Thomas,
You can see those two tanks at //www.clarkemfg.com ,click on any new tank and in the upper left you will see KTM products. I have only seen a picture of the enduro tank in blue, and mx in white, I'm pretty sure those are your only choices. I personally would opt for one like Larry's.
