Title: repairing magnesium cases pitting

whats a good way to fix the pitting in my cases its not deep but, does jb weld work well for this problem .

I used 2-part eppoxy and it seems to work very good.  JB weld would probably do the same thing.

After gentle bead blasting, I used a product called Honda Bond. It was recommended by my local bike shop as the miracle stuff.

I cracked the clutch side case on my 76 KTM soon after I bought the bike many many years ago. I used JB weld and it has held really well.  I am sure that it would work for you and those pits. I think that gently sand blasting would be a good idea too or glass if you prefer. The idea is to get it clean so that what ever you use it will bond well.Good luck!

I raced my 76 MC5 in the early 70 but just now getting backe into riding again.
