Title: Sachs manuals
Post by: CWilson on December 28, 2002, 10:37:20 AM
Where can I purchase a Clymer manual that is appropriate for my 1975 125cc Penton enduro?  It has a Sachs D motor in it.  Thanks.

Craig,
I would pass on the Clymer manual and get Penton manuals from Al or Larry. They are going to be more accurate.

Thanks Dwight and Rob for your replies.  I do have a Penton service manual for my bike already.  Just curious about the availability of the Clymer version.  Did Haynes ever come out with a Penton/Sachs manual?

Craig,  You can find the Clymer at "MC Swaps" M427 is the number and it usually runs $20-$30.  Haynes did not make a manual that I know of.  I use a combination of Penton/Clymer to build engines as there is a lot of "shady" areas.
