Title: Still looking for a gas tank
Post by: Dave Withrow on January 02, 2003, 10:34:05 PM
I know, I know.  Vintage Iron has them but I'm just not ready to give up $400.00.  I'm looking for a large aluminum tank for my '74 Mint.  Doesn't have to be perfect, just usable.  Thanks for any help.  GO PENTON!

Contact Al Buehner or Keep an eye on EBAY, I just picked up a MIB 3.6 Gal Hi point Green Tank (EBAY) for $160 so don't give up, they are out there.  I have also found some at MC salvage yards.

Max,
I've tried to bring up the tank by item number and all I get is "Invalid number".  Are you sure about the number?  What is the tank listed under?  Thanks.  Dave
