The months of prep have paid off. I rode my bike for the first time in many years. It was great to be in the saddle once again. As much fun as that was, it was just as much fun to see all the heads turn as I unloaded by iron steed. Some had never seen such a thing, for others it brought back memories of by gone days when Enduro and motocross bikes were still straight forward and about simple function and purpose. It was great to be able to give them a brief History of the roots of the KTM in america ie. Penton motorcycles. Thanks go out to all who have helped me to get up to speed.... pun intended
Thom Green,I bought and raced my 76 250 MC5 in 76'and 77' but I am just now getting back into riding again.
