Title: fork stop buffers
Post by: Mick Milakovic on January 28, 2003, 11:19:03 AM
Does anyone know where to get the rubber fork stop buffers for 74-75 hi-breather frames?  Al was unable to help when I called and I'm wondering if other suppliers are out also.

Mick,
Back on 10-4 Rob W had a post saying those may be next on his list. He did a great job on the tank bushings, maybe he's working on this one now. How about it Rob?

If these are not yet available, what are people doing to solve the problem?

Mick,
Maybe someone has an old frame that they could rob one from till they are avaible. I have an extra but it's not very good shape. Still would be better than nothing. If you need it, let me know.

Rob,
Thanks for all the leg-work.  I also cannot afford the outlay of cash right now, but I would buy three sets for myself.  I don't know the proper etiquette here, but would someone like Al or Teddy be interested in this?  Should myself (I've never met either gentlemen) or someone else call them?

Mick,

I think you mean Al or Larry Perkins, they are in the Penton parts business. I just like to build 'em and race 'em!!!
