I just recieved my March issue of AMA Magazine. In the Daytona article, on page 104, the picture at the bottom has a Penton in it. I think it is one of the first 10 machines that hit this country and Mr. Penton and crew hit the road to ride the Stone Mountain and Alligator Enduros. Maybe one of you sharp eyed readers can figure who the rider is. The machine looks to have an all chrome pipe, that is why I think it is one of the first 10 machines. What do you think???

Paul, Man, you have really good eyes! I looked and looked for that picture and after the fourth time through the magazine, I found it! It's nice to know someone has the Penton "bug" worse than myself!

Update, the picture mentioned was actually taken at Talledaga. See April AMA pg 8.

I read that in the letters to the editor. Al Born had mentioned that he didn't remember riding through town at Daytona, I guess he was right. That still looks like a chromed pipe Penton, just need to figure who it is!!!
