Title: Value of a Penton
Post by: [email protected] on February 25, 2003, 09:03:56 PM
As indicated I am new to this forum and have little experience with Penton's in this decade or the last for that matter.
What is a fair value on a 1976 250 Hare Scrambler in what I would deem very good running condition.It seems to be all there and is a one owner bike.I live in the upper midwest and bikes here typically bring less than on the coasts.Thanks for your help Frank.

Frank;
Watch e-bay you may get an idea what your 250 is worth.    There are so many variables to the worth of your bike, be prepared to send photos if someone is interested.

I have been watching e-bay and there was a penton/ktm  a 400cc that went for about 850 bucks. I thought that it went for too little. It did have some problems but none of them seems all that difficult to fix and nothing that would cost much. I think it shoud have gone for a least 1000 to 12 or 1300, someone got a great deal.

Thom Green,I own and ride a 76 250 MC5 MX which I bought new.
