Title: TROUBLESHOOTING, SACHS 125
Post by: kc on October 15, 2000, 11:34:01 PM
Are the Motoplat electronic ignitions known for going intermittently bad?
Engine died like a fouled plug or an open needle valve.  Both are fine, and I have spark.  Engine runs 5-10 minutes and dies all at once.  Plug is wet, bike will not start.  An hour later, it fires first kick.  If it was the needle valve sticking open, would it die all at once?    Thanks for the help.  kc

Found it before I went crazy.  Blue wire (to coil) loose at terminal block.
Thanks,
