Title: Swingarm Adjustment
Post by: TomG on March 17, 2003, 04:55:31 PM
While everyone else is talking about Mid Ohio and carburetors I'm still working on reassembling my frame ('78 400).  I'll probably get to carburetors around September. Anyway, where does one find a thin 22mm wrench to hold the adjustment nut on the swingarm while you reinstall the swingarm bolt? My '76 came with two thin wrenches but the largest size is 17mm.  Guess I never maintained the swingarm on it back then.

Thanks in advance.

Tom,

I purchased my wrench from Al Buenher.  His phone is listed in the parts section.  The cost of the wrench is very reasonable.

John,

Thanks, I never even thought to look there, and I just got some parts (o-rings and bearings) for the swingarm and steering head from him last week.  Guess I'll have to order some more stuff!

Ahhhhhhh, the joy of spending money.  That stuff will fix just about anything.
