Title: 250 MC5 Pipe Tip
Post by: imported_n/a on April 09, 2003, 11:30:32 AM
I just bought a '76-'77 250 MC5 pipe that is missing the tip that is held on by springs.  Does anyone have such a part or know where I might source one?

Hi, Glenn, Joe here. I have my original MC5 which I modified at the factory with six days porting by Dane Limebugh, a wide ratio gearbox with a Supertrapp exhaust, and brake seals, front and rear. I restored it a little while ago, and since I didn't care for a silver frame and orange tank, I painted the frame orange and the tank and panels white, with KTM stickers. It looks pretty cool to me and it was the best bike I ever rode in competition. It just sat for 20 years, and I'm back to riding it again starting next week, after another restoration. ---I'll look for the stinger end, in one of my spare parts piles. ---- Joe.

I've got a complete pipe that you are describing. I am looking for a 78' 400 pipie in the same very good cindition.
