Hi Guys,
I have a friend that has a 81' KTM495MX and he needs a good engine complete or a good lower end..any out there? let me know what you have..I want to get him on the track on the Great White..Thanks, Buddy

I have a line on a 420 motor which I recall was an '81. Not sure of the condition but I can find out if it would be of any use. Please advise.

I seem to recall a 420/495 motor on ebay acouple of days ago. Might be what you're looking for.

Buddy,

There are 2 motors on ebay at present. I believe that the bottom end & cases for 420 & 495 are identical.

Search ebay at - ktm 198* and you will find these motors.

There was a 420 bottom end on Ebay about a month ago that I bid on and it was junk. It had a broken rod and cylinder liner. The cases were also damaged and the seller reimbursed me for them since he told me the cases were OK. I saw that he relisted the motor the day after he sent back my paypal payment.
