What year did Penton start offering the tanks
with the 4 holes in the steel tank for mounting an Enduro Tank bag.

Kirt;
The tank bag mount tanks started in production at about the same time as the B engine (Alum. Cyl.) That was late 69s'and all 70--71s'. We had them on our six day bikes in Garmich 1969 also the proto model chrome panel blue tank that was sent to me by Mr. "T"  of K T M had the mounts mid 69.

I had a 69 which had a decal on the tanktop but no screwholes,and a 70 which had the screwholes. Both were bought new at Bohn's.

My 1971 Six Day has them. I couldn't afford the bag back then, so I bought a vinyl bag with zippered opening from Woolworth and bolted it to the tank. I took the bag off last summer before Mid Ohio. I still can't afford a Penton Enduro bag, at least not at the prices I have found them at!!!
