Title: Steel Tank Speedo Question
Post by: rcrump1 on May 20, 2003, 10:29:40 AM
I finally managed to find a speedometer bracket for my steel tank 125 and had a question about it. The speedo just slips down into the hole but does not seem to be attached to anything. What holds it in place and keeps it from bouncing around? I was thinking about using a large o-ring on the back side but decided I should let the experts tell me what was correct.
Thanks
Richard

There is a neat little bracket that fastens under the speedo and pulls it down into the bracket you have. This little brackets feet push up under the speedometer bracket you have.  Kinda looks like a square "U"

Kip;
Thanks for the information. Are these brackets available from Al of Larry or should I try to fabricate something?
Thanks again.
Richard

We are currently reproducing the large bracket for D.W. and Al Buehner.If Al doesn't have the "neat little bracket",I'll be trying to mooch one for repro.
