Title: Shocking advice???
Post by: Cappy on May 25, 2003, 11:37:48 PM
I am in the process of bringing my '73 Jackpiner back to life.  The shocks are not stock and I would like to get them right for the period but functional enough to race with in the vintage class.  Any ideas on what I should be looking for and sources?

1200 series Progressive suspension with 65lb springs should be alright or better yet go with the Works Performance or the new Vintage style Ohlins.  If going with the Works Performance be sure to order the floating piston so you can mount them correctly ( upright, springs up ).
