The website has a new look as of early this morning! If for some reason you are still getting the old web site, you may need to click on your browser Refresh button a few times or delete your temporary internet files from your browser. Some ISP providers don't refresh daily, so for some folks it may be a few days before you see the new look.
You will know you are seeing the new website if you see a black and white photo on the home page of a rider going through water.

We are still working on a few of the pages so if you go to a page that says "under construction", be sure to check back within a few days and it should be done.
If you are having any technical problems, please feel free to contact us for assistance:
Send email to: bswheels@comcast.net
Hope you will enjoy the new website,

Bill,
It looks great!!!!! Will you be able to sort the posts so the last post is at the top?
Thanks,
Teddy
I like the new web site features and layout. Looks good so far. I can hardly wait until it is all up and going.
I'd like to suggest some additional links for the links section.
Vinduro (Yahoo group site)
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/vinduro
And/or the Vinduro web site
http://www.vinduro.com/
For the Suppliers section you might want to add a "general" vintage (not Penton specific) section.
I'd put Vintage iron in there, along with the following:
Speed and Sport
http://www.speedandsport.com/
AMS
http://www.amsracing.com/
They are both good suppliers that support vintage riding and racing.

Looks fantastic Bill, very nice work, I like the change alot.
About the home page photo, did you ever take your brand new Penton and ride it in water over the engine, just to see if that new "high breather" really does work like they said.
Thanks Bill
Bill,
I just arrived back home in Mars from the POG meeting in Amherst and had to check out the new look, GREAT JOB!!! Thanks to both you and Karen for a job well done.
The site looks great. I am looking forward to the rest of the changes.
Are we going to have a place where we can post a picture of our bikes. I think that it would be cool to see what others are working on or are riding.
I love seeing the bikes of the month.
This would be more important for guys like me who are on the west coast, and can not get back to club meetings or some of the other great outings.
Thanks for all the great work!
Thom Green,I own and ride a 76 250 MC5 MX which I bought new.
Bill and Karen
Outstanding job on the POG site. Will see you at Mid Ohio! Thanks
Teddy,
Normally if you press "Active Topics" in the upper right corner of this page, topics would be sorted with the last post at the top. We noticed this was not working when we took over the website. We will try to find out why. Thanks again for the heads up.
Rob,
The bike you see on the home page is mine for the lack of a better photo at this time. This bike is a 1972 model and breathes just under the seat. Yes, I have had this bike in water worst than this and never had a problem. The one cool thing about going through water this deep is that the motor and pipe had a definite muffled sound but it always pulled through for me. Great bike...
Thom,
Our plans are to include more members bike images on the website with a new navigation button. If you have a good image (scanned at 200 dpi, uncompressed preferred) of your bike, send it to bswheels@comcast.net. We would need to post the picture for you.
Great job Bill I love the idea of the upfront Picture ... I hope we get lots of them and post them frequently..... thks Brian T.
Brian Taylor

One thing I would deffinately like to see added is a members area, where you may log into your own area to update and/or create a log, or story book of sorts displaying a restoration project, race, or any related experience to share.

Great job!
I'm lacking some technical info. Like a year by year specs and pictures. There is tons of knowledge among the members and why not have them to write a few technical articles.
By the way, The link to:
http://www.ktm495.mxbikes.com
is appropriate I believe.
Bill,
I check the "Active Topics" button every day to see if the sort order will change to last post first, so far to no avail. Good luck with it. It is especially needed for posts like John Durrill's "straight cut gears" topic with 4 pages of posts.
