Title: penton pipe
Post by: chris p. on June 18, 2003, 09:48:20 PM
you guys know ime looking for a pipe to fit my 76 125, Dr. 2 stroke may have the exact one, however there is one now on e-bay, seller says its off a 1975 175. think its worth the gamble {IF IT EVEN FITS, OR COULD BE MADE TO FIT} or should i just go with the doctor?

The 175 pipe has a much different angle coming out of the cylinder.

I have a couple of pipes off 1978 or 1979 125 KTMs.  Don't know if they might be made to work or not.

Chris,
if the 76 you have has a KTM
engine the pipe would be different from a 75 Sachs engine 125. it will work on the motor but you will need access to a welding outfit to get it to fit and you would need to rejet the carb.
hope this helped.
