Title: Has anyone heard of this parts dealer?
Post by: chase on July 10, 2003, 07:00:30 AM
I can't remember how I got in touch with him, but he says he has a lot of new and used parts for older Pentons.  I wrote him and questioned him about a exhaust for a 1978 KTM 250 and he said he had a new one fro $600 and used for $300.  He said that he is in Switzerland. His email address is [email protected] and his name is Reinhart.  Does anyone Know anything about him?

Chase, you're referring to Dr.2stroke on the forum here.  Reinhard has lots of Penton/KTM parts available.  I bought a 175 "long skirt" piston from the good doctor several months back and the deal went smoothly.  Pricing and exchange rate makes items very dear to buy, but he has tons of stuff.

Hope that helps.

Glenn

Dr. 2-stroke is a good source for hard to find parts. I bought a set of the special main bearings and steering head bearings for my 420 from him. I paid less for them than I would have getting them from dealers in the USA, even after postage charges. The parts arrived within a week, too.
