Post by: tlanders on July 21, 2003, 11:22:29 AM
Does anybobdy have an air box cover with the curved knotch in it to clear the lay down position of the shocks on the 1975 frame? Or do you know who sells them?

Early this year DKWRACER reproduce this side cover in fiberglass.  I bought one, the quality was very good and price was reasonable.

Thanks for the help. I need to use my Mint 400 for the Post Vintage race at Honda Hills since I will have my MC5 all trimmed out for the Cross Country. The Cross Country is at 9:00 on Sunday and the PV race is at 11:00. There is no time to convert the MC5 back to a motocrosser. So I think I'll just put heavier springs on my shocks and lay 'em down on the Mint 400 and pretend it's a PV bike!!!! However, I need the cut out side panel to accomodate the shock. Thanks again.

Ron Carbaugh had what looked to be a NOS one for sale at Mid-Ohio for $65.
