Does anybody have any allen type head nuts for a '74 400 Mint? I need a set of four and can't seem to find any.

Sorry I did not get back to you concerning the Head Nuts, had to go to Mid Ohio. The 74 shop manual shows that standard nuts were used on the 74 engine. The 76 manual shows the nuts you describe. I don't have any of the allen type as I stop production at 74. I bet you can cross the stud length and change them out to use the standard nuts. Good luck
