Title: VMX Magazine
Post by: swamp fox on August 14, 2003, 12:51:23 PM
Just got my copy of the VMX with the article about 50 years of PENTON (ktm). It has some good reading in it, and also brings back some memories with the article about the XL 250 Honda. I traded one of these nicely balanced Motosports for my beloved little Berkshire back in '73-'74.  Man that thing could pull a wheelie all the way down the street. Neighbor's didn't like it as much as me. HA HA

There is also an article about the rotary Wankel Hercules. Got a picture of Doug Wilford in the '75 Isle of Man ISDT.

It would have been fun to travel and do all that, but I can't complain. There's no place like home.

Can't figure out why it couldn't spell wankel

Hi Rocket,
It's in the current issue #19. There's a link here on the POG homepage, but I couldn't get it to work earlier. It's actually printed in Australia, but they have a US distributor for subscriptions. Here is the Aussie link: http://www.vmxmag.com.au/
