Post by: Rocket on November 05, 2003, 07:56:30 PM
[?]I am looking for rebuild kits for Koni shocks, 76F-1283.  Any idea on who hanldes rebuild kits?  I've checked the Web under Koni, and all I can come up with is car stuff.

Rocket,

Here is the link to Koni North America repair center.  Unfortunately the page states on the bottom that series 76 are not rebuildable.  I called the phone number listed and the tech. said the seals were not accessable.  Was any one able to rebuild these in the past?

I believe Koni motorcycle shocks are no longer made. Ikons are the same shock. This site didn't list Penton but with correct dimensions they probaly could match something up. Not sure about rebuilding them.

I sent an e-mail to Ikon asking about rebuild kits and info.  I'll post when I find something out.
thanks

Viewing last years topics I found this from Doug Wilford that might also help you.

The most active "koni" specialist is Kent Knudson at [email protected] He will help you I am sure.
