Title: KTM 400 - correct handlebar size
Post by: farmer58za on November 16, 2003, 10:04:53 PM
What's the correct width and height of the stock bars for a '76 Ktm 400 GS? Are they chrome or black?
Thanks

David  They were chrome but I can't give you a for sure on rise and pullback.  If you want excellent replacement bars contact Matt at Speed and Sport and he can fix you up with replacements for less than the cost to rechrome originals (if you can find them);)

Thanks Kip
I just got a pair of Bultacos with some nice chrome bars. They're very wide but should work if I cut 1/2 - 1" off the ends.

The bars that came on the bike are those solid alloy bars with no crossbar as was the rage in the mid-'70s. Although they are a lovely period accessory, I'd like "normal ones" The alloy ones may end up on my BSA Bantam trials project.

Cheers
