Does anyone have the correct timing specs for a 1972 175 Jackpiner? I have some conflicting information, one source is 3.0 mm BFTC and another has it at 2.4 mm BFTC. I am not sure either one is correct.

My reference listed the range of 2.8 -3.0mm BTDC,
set mine @ 3, runs just fine.

I believe these settings are different because two-stroke timing can be varied between enduro and motocross models. The 3.0mm setting would be the enduro set up.
I think I read this somewhere but, I'm sure some of the experts can verify and explain better.
