It is interesting to note that when Ted Wassell first started to build his trials machines they were designed for a BSA Bantam 175cc engine. They would buy up used engines and referbish them for their machines. Supposedly about 50 such machines were built. At that time they opted to use the much easier to obtain Sachs engines.
