Title: rear six-day fender
Post by: gooddirt on January 15, 2004, 11:18:17 PM
Does anyone know the size of the rear fender (alloy) 72-73 six-day? And know anyone who might have one close to it?[?]

I have taken my alloys off my bike if you need the rear one for a template. I am switching to plastic. I just redid a BMW /5 cafe bike and bought nice quality alloy fenders from domi race http://www.domiracer.com/

gooddirt,
The early take off fender I have from a 1973 Bershire is 32" inches long.  And this is a fender that I know to an original.  Hope that helps.

3putt,
I had a call yesterday from one of my friends that ask the same question. So I just measured over the top.  He stated he had found 2 nos fenders in a parts inventory he had just purchased.
From the fenders that I have off the original bike they measure 5" x 32" (rear).
