I want to talk about Dalesmans.I owned and raced two in 1970(Puch 4 speed)and 1971(Puch 6 speed).There seems to be very little information out there.I want to know who has what.Regards Larry
You know what really hurt the Dalesman motorcycle company, and eventually caused it's demise.
There were'nt enough Dalesman salesman.

as i stated in my earlier post,[which was a few years back,been busy]i have a 1971 and 1973 dalesman scout,sachs 125/6b motors,me and my bro bought them from a motorcycle dealer up in dalton massachusetts back in the late 1980's,both ran when we got them the 1971 had the 1piece seat and tank and 19" rear wheel,the 73 the alloy tank,man the 71 would stick to the berm's like glue,hope it help's,someday i'll get enough cash to fix them up.
