Title: paint for frame--1974 250cc
Post by: kelleymutt on February 09, 2004, 09:45:44 AM
What is the proper paint for me to use on my frame?  The automotive paint store suggested base coat/clear coat. Is there a good durable paint in a spray can that others have used with good results? Thanks for help. Kelleymutt

I'm sure Kip Kern will pipe in with some sound advice...in a pinch, Plasticoat light slate M, is a decent color match ...Pep Boys....You might also try a search on paint frame or frame paint in the search engine....we also have some space on Yahoo for some archived info.....

Kelly, If you are looking to powdercoat like I did there is a company here in Greenville S.C. that can make it look like it came from the factory.Let me know if this is something that interest you and I will hook up up.
