Title: Bead blast vs. sand or abrasive blast
Post by: hrbay on February 18, 2004, 02:43:41 PM
bead(glass) will compound the problems with adhesion, the impact on the part of the beads actually closes the pores of the metal, better to sandblast the part with sand or other abrasive medium, which leaves the surface very rough increasing the surface area of the bond. Loctite Hysol EA 934 na, good stuff and is an elevated temp. 'poxy.
