Title: NOS '68 Penton-like shocks ?? on ebay
Post by: rob w on March 12, 2004, 10:55:26 AM
Item # 2465170989,

These look like the shrouded shocks used on early steel tankers? I must say I'm not the one to confirm these are correct,or even close, they're Girling look-a-likes, but I thought it's worth checking-out to anyone that may be looking. If the 13" length would work ?, the 110 pound springs sound about right.

Those look cool, the only kicker being steel tankers require 13.5" E/E and the shock diameter has to be smaller to allow the long chainguard to mount up properly on the 68's.  The Taiwan repops are getting close![8D]
