Title: D engine cases on Ebay
Post by: john durrill on March 29, 2004, 08:46:51 AM
These look like B cases to me. Maybe Doug could have a look at them to be sure.

John and Ron,
I have had three differnet D motors and there is not much difference between the D and the B cases, unless you get a set of D cases that are stuffed. These are D cases, just not the stuffed cases.

The DE cases that are the hot ones were the D GS cases.  They had a very narrow rod opening because of the stuffed cases.  The ones on eBay don't appear to be those.

Donny and Larry are correct.  These are D cases just not the really hot GS style that are the stuffed set.  The ones on ebay cover most of the crankshaft and can be stuffed even more.  The set on ebay will need some work done to the fin and chain area to be nice.
