I have been reading all the past posts under this topic as it relates to my bike. Reading these has got me thinking of some questions.
From what I have read it seams like for that year they put a 125 cylinder and head on an existing larger bore lower end. Is this true? and if so what lower end did they use, 175cc?
If this is the case would it be possible to put a larger bore top end on?
Last and really crazy idea - I looked at a 76' 125 back in the 80's and the guy said he had put a 100cc SACHs cylinder and head on his bike. Could he have been serious? Is this conversion possible without major rework?
