Paint it with PJ-1 KTM Silver Gray Epoxy
Doug is correct on this, I just painted a 76 250 with the PJ1 and it turned out great. Wish I would have been using it all along.

Rod, How could your bikes come out looking any better than previous efforts? You are an artist, sir. Thanks also to Mr. W. for the info.
The Silver/Gray PJ1 paint is the easy and real correct color. If you use it the bike will look like a new Penton frame did long ago. Here is a little trick. If after you paint the frame you put two or three coats of PJ1 Clear it will give it a Patena that will make it look like new but aged. It gives it a bit of yellowing like real good but not repainted frames look. It also adds some extra protection.
sorry to jump in here. Larry have you got my e-mails?

If you want to try powder coating I just got my 76' 125 back from the coater. It was done in "rally silver" and looks to be a perfect match. The original silver grey. I am sending my next 2 project Penton's to the same place.
