Title: Similarities between '73 engines
Post by: adrian_goold on May 07, 2001, 12:10:57 AM
What components are the same between the Black 125/175/250 motors?
Would a barrel from a 250 bolt on to a 175?
Exhaust mountings on barrel similar?
Are the strokes the same or different?
Does someone have a exploded view of each '73 motor that i could look at?
What have others done??
Comments welcomed..

Hello people,
30+ have read this but have not given an ounce of their knowledge!!
It seems people are only interested in seats!
I would like some motor specs on the 125/175 and 250 motors, please??
Are parts interchangeable etc, etc.

Adrian

There is not much that will interchange between 250 and 175 Penton or KTM.  Shifter and not kickstarter.  They have completely different bottom ends.  The 125 KTM shares some things with the 175.  If you want exploded view of any I have nice redos of parts manuals for frame or engine and service manuals. On any of these or parts e-mail me at [email protected]
