Title: red wire out of motoplat

on my 125/6b all wires out of motoplat match except i have a red wire instead of white as manual shows.. can I assume that its for the headlight  ????? thks Brian T

Brian,

   No, the red wire is not the headlight. The difference between the two color combinations, is the values of the brake light circuit. The ignitions with a red wire, have an 18W brake light circuit, where the ignitions with a white wire, have a 21W brake light circuit. All the other wires are the same: yellow - 35W and red or white - 5W.
