Does anyone have a lead on 57t rear sprocket for a Six Days?
Al B doesn't have any.
Thanks
Randy,
I don't know if your looking for NOS or just something that will work, but Rebel Gears will make just about anything for you at a pretty reasonable price. //www.rebelgears.com They have made a couple sprocket for me in the past.
Tommy
Thanks Tommy, I'll check them out.
Randy. we get some sprockets from Sprocket Specialist. they can supply you a 57 for the rear.
Pentons are listed in the vintage part of their catalog.

I could be wrong, but the story I heard was that the parents of the guy that owns Rebel Gears started Sprocket Specialists and he worked there for many years. Sometime after his family sold the business he left and started Rebel Gears.

Thanks John,

Hi Don,
I'm currently running 13 - 54. Just thought I'd like to try a 13 - 57. Looks like it will be easier to go to 12 - 54.
Thanks anyway.
The higher the ratio number the lower the gearing.

Randy,
As a friend I would advise against the 12 tooth sprocket just because of the short turning radius of 170 degress. I realize you are very GOOD at maintence, but just my take.
I actually made a case protector for the 12 tooth, but it was actually built as much as a guide as a protector. I have used 12 tooth sprockets, but it was for a specific tight track situation.
Rob W,
Great job on the chart! Makes it easier than looking it up in the shop manual. For us use to bees and hoping to bees again[:o)].
Ron,
That's what I thought on the 12t also. I think I'll wait till Tuesday & check with Sprocket Specialists or Rebel Gears and go ahead & get a 57 like my original idea. Thanks for your help.
Bob,
Neat chart... I already put it on the wall in my shop. [^]
Thanks
