I am hearing rumours that the latest issue of VMX magazine will include a picture of Pro Tom Benolkin giving some 125 lessons at the Texas National. From the reports I had, like "I didn't know a Penton was that fast" or from fellow competitors "I hope he doesn't make a habit of racing Pentons", he got some real attention for the fans. Check it out.
Unforunitely he fried the clutch plates and was side lined. He has told me he loves his "Green Hornet", as he calls it, and should have it ready to go again soon. Anyone who sees Tom at a National should let him know he has some fans. When you see this guy on a bike you'll know why he was a factory rider and is good guy.
