Title: honing 125

would it help or hert to hone te cylender wile its still on the bike with the piston still in it just the top end of cylder (sorry bad speller i am)

  Are you just trying to get some of the carbon out???  Let me know what is going on.  Before you do anything lets compare notes on this site.  DON"T TRY TO HONE ANYTHING YET.

Travis   I don't think it would be a good idea.   if you have a ridge that noticable you should probably have it honed to the next oversize piston.     It is okay to use a hand hone to take the glaze out of the cylinder but I would still at least pull the cylinder off to do that.   You don't want all that gook to get into the bearing areas.     Have fun and don't worry your messages are fine.

ok thanks I just put it back togeter with out honing and ran it
