I am looking for a 1976 Penton KTM 250 mc5 exhaust pipe and footpegs for a 1977 frame. I don't have the original frame, but I think the frame I have is a 1977 because the foot pegs mount at two different positions and it doesn't on the 1976 frame. The motor is a 1976 and I believe the frame is a 1977. If someone knows about frames and years and would be willing to help me out, I can email a picture of the bike. Please email me at

You might start with looking at the numbers on the steering head (if there are any). Next try reading Production Years on the home page and you may be able to date the engine and frame yourself. If not we willhelp you.
