I need to tap into the experience on re-painting the frame on my '74. Tips from prepping to type of paint would be much appreciated.

If your 74 still has the silver looking frame use PJ-1 KTM Silver-Gray Epoxy paint. Preparation, bead blast or stip and sand your frame.
