Title: Antique Bing?
Post by: Lew Mayer on August 01, 2004, 08:31:54 PM
I've got a Bing carb off a 125 Sachs motor and it's a little different than any I've seen. It has holes in the jet needle for a cotter pin for adjustment instead of grooves and a C-clip. It also has a return spring about 1/4" wide instead of the typical 5/8 0r 3/4" spring. Can anybody out there date this thing or have an idea what it might have come off of originally? It's a 24 mm. Just curious.

The Bing that you describe is the type used on 125 Rickman Zundapp's.

This another one of my investment engines[:0]?  We are going to have to put JJ on our research team.  Great answer.
