Title: mc5 chain adjusters
Post by: penton117 on August 15, 2004, 12:09:09 PM
Hi Guys,

I am in the process of grafting an MC5 aluminum swingarm onto my 1975 Hare Scrambler. It's coming out real nice, but to finish it I need a pair of MC5 chain adjusters. They are similar to the CMF adjusters, but only about half as wide. Can anyone help me locate a pair?

Thanks,

Don

Don,
Can you tell me more about the aluminum MC5 swingarm you have?  Thanks.

Hi Mike,

I have been taking pictures along the way and will post a full report when I am done. Basically, I have modified a 1980 MC5 swingarm to fit my 1975 Hare Scrambler. If I do say so myself, it is coming out pretty nice. More on that later. In the mean time I still need some chain adjusters. Anybody?

There's a pair of what look like the item you describe, that have just come up on Ebay. Sorry I don't have the hyperlink, but look under Penton. Good luck.

Ron meant "chain adjusters" not foot pegs.
