Vance,
I don't have a 175, but per some specs I have in a publication from Al Buehner, here goes.

Max allowable piston to cylinder clearance:
175cc -- .006" to .007"
Specs for ring end gaps:
175cc -- .010" to .012" minimum
         .018" to .020" maximum
Clearance specs for boring cylinders:
175cc -- .003" to .0035"

Probably a good idea to double check this with a manual from Al.
Hope this helps.

Vance  It all depends on the piston/ring manufacturer.  Each require different clearances so be very careful.  I have seen piston ring end gap for .024 thick rings as high as .075 - .105 end gap.;)  The same as hole drilling specs for the front of pistons, all different!
