Title: Kickstarters
Post by: Lew Mayer on December 30, 2004, 09:38:54 PM
I've noticed that kickstarters going dearly on E-bay. There has to be a kickstarter somewhere that has the same splines as a KTM motor and flips out to clear the frame. If not, here is an item ripe for reproduction. Any thoughts on this? Seems to be a problem worth looking into. I know you guys have a wealth of ideas.

Lew, I'll bet EMGO would be the place to start but I'll also bet it is big $$$$$$$$$$.  I believe Al had the shifters redone there and  they are also the makers/providers of the Girling shock copies. EMGO makes great products at reasonable prices.[^]

Alan B has the large shaft ones and is getting the small shaft ones remaned soon. These will be the later type, stronger and better, except dont look like oem ones from the 70's.
