Post by: G Ellis on January 16, 2005, 01:11:20 AM
Wanted a good Bing 26mm carb for my 74 project bike. I am trying to finish it for the Feb AMA POG meeting. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Gary

Actually, you will find most early steel tankers with 24mm Bings.

Gary, I have two Bings.  One has a stripped out idle screw hole, the other has the idle jet frozen (and broken) in place.  Does that help you?

I also need a carb for Gatorback in March.  Anybody out there maybe want to trade two bings for a Mikuni for my '75 250 project?

I was looking for a 30MM Type 84 Bing and found that Bing International still makes this and I can buy a new one for $284.00. I'm not sure if they have the 26MM but they have an outlet in Kansas.  Their phone number is 1-800-309-2464 Or you can visit them on the web at http://www.bingcarburetor.comHope this helps!
