I have an MZ 250 ETS 250 (ISDT), less barrel, head and pipe to part out. Anyone interested in this ISDT mount for $500.00? Or, does anyone have parts for this old bike I could buy?
Dino;
There are a quite a few MZ fans out there, send your message to the vinduro group or
[email protected] he might be able to steer you to the right people.
Thanks for the info on the MZ source Doug. I own a prestine '77 Jawa 350 ISDT (not for sale) and thought the MZ would make a worthy addition to my collection.

Do you still have the MZ? I need a headlamp glass and reflector. Kip
I need some ankle breaking footpegs
Posted info on your MZed to Vinduro. I lusted after a 250 MZ, probably a 71 or 72 model, in the window of Frank DeGray's shop in Ellington, CT back when I was a kid. Like the Jawa, they have "the ISDT look"...functional and built like a battleship.
Only had the chance to ride one once, at the 2003 Reunion Ride in Massachusetts. Just a quick jaunt up and down the street, but ya gotta love the powerband (wide and flat as west Texas) and gearbox with overdrive high gear.

Thanks Jeff, I would post a photo of the almost completed machine but don't know how???? These bikes are ugly but cool. My neighbor was a Jawa/CZ/MZ dealer while I was growing up. I can still remember the 2, 402 Banana frame ISDT Jawas he received in early 70. One still exists about 10 miles from my house.[:p]

Mike looks great, neat fact is they were built only about 1 hour apart in Europe! Copied ideas from each other. Happy New Year!
I have a 68 MZ 250 that is in great unrestored shape. I do need a tank bag and some foot pegs for mine.
Steve
The tank bags are available from Ost2rad in Germany for about $200
