Title: Wanted-Berkshire
Post by: bbeck3100 on January 23, 2005, 12:11:04 PM
I know this is a tough one but I am looking for a 1972-73 100 Berkshire to round out my collection. I don't have money to burn, but would pay more than a fair price for a good, restorable bike. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 1973 Berkshire 100 that I purchased new in 1974. I raced it for a 1 1/2 seasons, then for recreational riding a little after that.  I traded it and some cash for a SL350 Honda. HA  Anyhow, several years later the son of the fellow I traded it to called me and asked if I wanted my old Penton.  I went over to his house and picked it up immediately.  It has been in my barn for about 20 years, with the intention of restoration.  It is clear that I'm not going to get to it, so I might be willing to part with it.  I'm not going to give it away, but don't want to rob anyone, either. Thanks

Thanks!

Sorry that I haven't gotten back to ya'll sooner, but things have been busy around my house(3 teenagers)HA.  I will get some pictures out as soon as I can.  I am located in Louisiana. I haven't backed out on parting with my bike or anything.  I just have too many "irons in the fire".  Would $500 be too much to ask?  I really don't know, so I'm depending on ya'll to work with me.  Thanks for your patience.

I finally got the pictures out to you guys.  Sorry it took me so long.  Crash, thanks for the reply.  You almost got me sentimental about my bike.
