Title: 1976 126 Restoration Project
Post by: Chakka on January 23, 2005, 03:58:49 PM
I thought I would share some pictures of my winter project and thank you all for providing so much help in the form of parts, rebuilds and technical advice. Special thanks to Rod Gorzny for the Marzocchi rebuilds.

Project is looking good!  What year frame are you using?  Also, is the swingarm from a GS6?  Did you buy the bike with the mix match of parts?  Just curious.  Thanks for the comment on the shocks, I must say they look good on there.

Edit:  I think I can answer my own questions, now I realize it is a KTM powered 125.  I didn't realize all of the differences between the 125 and the bigger KTM motor powered bikes.

Hi Rocket,

I bought the bike on ebay a few years back. It is a KTM powered 125 and while not very common, I have seen a few. So as far as I can tell its original. The frame number is 606 90952. I actually have an old New England Trail Rider mag with a full page add featuring this model. When I saw one availible I didn't hesitate.
