Title: Correct carb for 1969 Penton 125cc
Post by: kevin1971 on January 25, 2005, 07:49:48 PM
I have a 1969 Penton Six-Days.  It has the radial head, I believe from a Puch that is original to the bike according to the 1st owner. What is the correct carb?  It has a 1/26/117 Bing.  There is no reason other than on this site I have read that these early Pentons should have a 24mm Bing, that I doubt the carb is original.  If it is does anyone have a good carb body.  All internals are perfect except that the airbox came loose and wore a lot of metal on the air horn side of body, and I would like to replace the carb body or complete carb if it is wrong size.  Jetting is a 140 main. Hope to hear from some of you steel tank owners. Anyone with a good carb  body #1/26/117?? Thanks, Kevin

The 26/117 is the original Penton carb.
